Upcoming Joint Webinar: COST Actions OneHealthdrugs & ENVIRANT

COST Actions OneHealthdrugs and ENVIRANT will hold a joint online webinar on 15 May 2026 from 14:00 to 16:00 CET. The event will focus on how the One Health approach can support the development of more sustainable antiparasitic strategies while reducing environmental impact.

The webinar will bring together two COST Actions working at the intersection of animal health, environmental sustainability, and drug-related challenges. OneHealthdrugs aims to coordinate the discovery of drugs for vector-borne infections in both human and veterinary settings while improving quality and reducing environmental impact, whereas ENVIRANT focuses on the environmental occurrence and ecological impact of anthelmintics used in livestock and on promoting more sustainable control practices.

Participants will hear an overview of the activities and achievements developed by OneHealthdrugs during its final Grant Period, as well as the ongoing and future activities planned within ENVIRANT during its second Grant Period. Particular attention will be given to current challenges and research activities related to the detection of environmental residues of anthelmintic drugs and their potential impact.
