Upcoming ENVIRANT Training School: ANTHELMODIAG (June, 23-26.2026)

COST Action ENVIRANT will host the ANTHELMODIAG Training School at INRAE Nouzilly, France, from 23 to 26 June 2026. The event is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive knowledge base and a broad set of practical skills in next-generation phenotypic assays and molecular approaches for managing anthelmintic use in the context of resistance.

Over four days, the programme will combine interactive lectures and hands-on training across four core themes. Topics will include the diversity of anthelmintic compounds and their modes of action, in vitro monitoring of anthelmintic resistance, molecular diagnostics, and the use of diagnostic results for decision-making and epidemiological studies.

Practical sessions will cover several important diagnostic approaches, including the Automated Larval Development Assay, Larval Immersion Assay, Automated Larval Migration Assay (ALMA), Migration Trap Assay (MTA), and MinION technology with data analysis training. Because laboratory access is limited, only six trainees will be selected for participation.
