ENVIRANT ITC Conference Grants – 2nd Grant Period
The ENVIRANT Action (CA23154) is pleased to announce that the call for ITC Conference Grants – 2nd Grant Period is now open. The call will remain open until 30 September 2026.
A total of four ITC Conference Grants, of up to €1,500 each, will be awarded to support researchers in presenting their work at international conferences.
What are ITC Conference Grants?
ITC (Inclusiveness Target Countries) Conference Grants are designed to support researchers from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs) and Near Neighbour Countries (NNCs) in presenting their work at international conferences. These grants aim to increase the visibility of researchers from eligible countries, strengthen networking opportunities, and promote knowledge exchange within the thematic scope of the COST Action ENVIRANT.
Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be researchers or innovators affiliated with an institution located in an ITC or NNC.

Present an oral presentation directly related to the objectives of COST Action ENVIRANT: CA23154.

Attend a conference taking place within the current Grant Period.

Note that the conference may be held anywhere in the world.
Please note that only one ITC Conference Grant may be awarded per applicant during the entire duration of the Action.
Evaluation
Applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:

Approved oral presentation.

Relevance of the presentation topic to one or more ENVIRANT Working Groups.

Conference taking place within the current Grant Period.
-
Relevance and recognition of the conference within the academic or professional community.

Applicant’s CV and motivation letter, with priority given to Early Career Investigators (ECI) with relevant research backgrounds.

Novelty of the data presented.

Appropriateness of the requested budget in relation to the destination and duration of the conference.
In the case of a high number of applications, additional considerations may include:

Gender balance.

One applicant per institution/centre.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted through e-COST.

Log in to e-COST.
-
Go to COST Actions and select My Grant Applications from the left panel.

Click Apply for Grant and select the relevant grant type.

Complete the application form and select COST Action ENVIRANT.

Upload all required supporting documents.

Submit the application through e-COST.
